Stormrazor
Since its release, Stormrazor has always been one of the strongest items in the late game, helping you disable an opponent’s unit for a few seconds. If used cleverly, Stormrazor can help players win crucial rounds in the late game. Even in Season 6, Stormrazor is an item that is both easy to use and extremely powerful as controlling frontline units is becoming increasingly important.

Additionally, this item has the advantage of having very easy-to-find components (Giant’s Belt, Cloak of Agility) and is rarely fiercely contested. Therefore, if you want, you can combine Stormrazor in every match without worrying too much about the main item group. So if possible, you should combine this item in the late game or pick it from the shared selection round to ensure a top 4 position and gain extra rank points.
Frozen Heart
In recent versions of Teamfight Tactics, we can clearly see the rise of melee carries. Challenger and Evolver compositions are using these champions and proving to be highly effective. As a result, Frozen Heart is becoming extremely strong as this item provides a powerful attack speed reduction and perfectly counters the aforementioned carries. Especially in Challenger compositions, units like Warwick, Yone, Fiora… are very afraid of being slowed down.

Moreover, with Assassins still existing in the meta, Frozen Heart remains a good item as it synergizes incredibly well with this type of composition. Reducing the damage output of enemy carries will give Assassin units more time to eliminate the opposing team. This is a very strong tool in matches where you don’t pick up many strong items but can still upgrade your Assassins.
Trap Claw
Although it has lost the ability to stun opponents when casting spells, this seems to have no impact on the power of this item. In fact, the shield buff for itself and 2 nearby allies makes this item an extremely powerful support tool. In a context where many top-tier supports like Janna, Taric, Orianna… are in the meta, Trap Claw becomes even more useful right now.

Furthermore, if you notice, there are many champions from Season 6 that have the ability to impact the backline, such as Blitzcrank, Zac, Lux, Jhin… These are all real threats to your carries, and protecting them with Trap Claw suddenly becomes more important than ever. It would be unfortunate if your carry, even in a safe position, was still taken down by the opponent’s Lux carry. Therefore, the advice is to find ways to combine Trap Claw in the late game whenever possible.
