Frontline – Butcher
This is perhaps the composition that benefits the most from recent patches, as the Butcher system has received buffs to damage and the appearance rate of the Chosen champions has increased. This allows players to easily acquire Chosen Olaf at level 8, turning him into a powerful carry. Moreover, if you find yourself in an unfortunate situation without a strong Olaf, you can still effectively run this composition by focusing on other champions like Tristana, Pyke, and Samira.
If you want to successfully play the Frontline – Butcher composition, Runaan’s Hurricane is an essential item. This equipment interacts powerfully with the damage increase effects from the Butcher system, so your carries will deal significant damage when equipped with this item. You can equip Runaan’s Hurricane on both Olaf and Samira while still ensuring extremely high damage output. Infinity Edge is also a good choice to instantly boost the damage for your Butcher lineup.
Sharpshooter – Cultist
The greatest strength of this composition is its extreme ease of construction, ensuring players have power from the start to the end of the game. In the early game, you can easily achieve the 3 Cultist threshold while maintaining a healthy amount of HP. By the mid to late game, champions like Sivir, Teemo, and Samira will be the main carries that drive this composition to victory. If you feel your frontline is too weak, the duo of Sejuani and Aatrox is always a strong choice.
A small tip that players should know to operate this composition most effectively is to roll heavily at level 7. At this stage, the appearance rate of 3 gold Chosen champions is up to 55%. With the increased chance of rolling Chosen champions in patch 11.4, you will have a high opportunity to acquire Chosen Sivir, even upgrading this unit to 3 stars. No matter what type of Chosen (Cultist or Sharpshooter), Sivir remains an extremely powerful unit and helps players secure easy victories.
Bruiser
Although nerfed in patch 11.4, the power of the Bruiser composition has not diminished at all. Essentially, Shyvana’s skill is too perfect to become a powerful carry, increasing both attack range, health, and damage. Therefore, even with a slight nerf to the health and AD of the Bruiser system, Shyvana remains relatively strong. In the late game, the Bruiser composition does not weaken either, as Sett is always a powerful 5 gold unit.
Even if you don’t get strong items for Shyvana, there are still many carry units that players can rely on, like Nunu, Sett, and Vi… With Dragon Claw and Hextech Gunblade, Nunu can fully take on the role of primary damage dealer. Sett is also versatile enough to make good use of various damage items. In fact, Teamfight Tactics players can also switch to using the Dragon Tribe composition with Aurelion Sol as the main carry when playing this team.
