Zaun
Zaun is proving to be a highly versatile race that can perform well in all areas of Teamfight Tactics. The champions from Zaun all possess good damage or healing capabilities. Furthermore, the enhancement items from Zaun provide champions with breakthrough power. If reaching the 6 Zaun threshold (with the emblems), this composition will become extremely powerful.
Therefore, in the upcoming patch 13.16, Zaun will face significant nerfs to both its enhancements and champions. Specifically, the Arm of the Robot enhancement will have its additional attack activation rate reduced to 40%. The damage based on maximum health for the unstable Chemtech enhancement will also be reduced to 35%. Even the two 4-cost core units from Zaun, Zeri and Urgot, will receive heavy nerfs.
3-Star Samira
Emerging as one of the strong 1-cost carry units in patch 13.15, Samira immediately caught the attention of Riot Games. And in the upcoming patch 13.16, this unit will no longer have the ability to reduce opponents’ armor to negative values as it currently does. In exchange, the base damage from Samira’s skill will see a slight increase.
Not stopping there, another important unit in the 3-star Samira composition, Swain, will also receive significant nerfs. The durability that this unit possesses will no longer be as substantial as it is currently. Therefore, choosing to build a 3-star Samira composition in the next patch seems quite risky.
5-Cost Champion Composition
There are two factors that make the 5-cost champion composition currently quite strong. Firstly, the 5-cost champions in Season 9 possess extremely high power in terms of damage or utility effects. Moreover, Season 9 also provides many tools for players to reach level 9 and acquire 5-cost champions more easily.
Perhaps Riot has partially recognized its mistake, so they have reduced the power of several strong 5-cost champions in the upcoming patch. Specifically, Ahri, Senna, Sion, Heimerdinger, and Bel’Veth will all see reduced damage or utility. Even Ryze has been nerfed in many different areas. Hopefully, these adjustments will prevent the strategy of using all 5-cost champions from being overly powerful in the next patch.
