Tristana
The champion from the Yordle tribe is a new addition to the Demon lineup and has contributed to making this tribe more popular in season 5.5, as it no longer relies too heavily on Teemo or the meager damage from Ziggs. Tristana also adds the Gunner trait, allowing her to increase her damage when activating the trait, and with her ability to jump behind the farthest enemy unit, Tristana is an extremely useful pick when it comes to targeting the opponent’s carry.
At just 2 gold, Tristana is considered one of the most effective and popular picks in the Gunner lineup. This is because Miss Fortune’s skill set does not provide much damage, especially in the late game, while Lucian is too difficult to upgrade as a 4-cost champion, and Senna relies too much on items and levels. Therefore, it’s no surprise that players prefer Tristana significantly more in the Gunner lineup or even in the Demon comp.

Nautilus
Nautilus does not deal much damage, and his role is simply to enhance the defensive strength of the Knight lineup, but it can be said that in the current Knight team composition, Nautilus is the most effective and favored champion. This champion activates the Armor trait to create shields for the entire team. Secondly, Nautilus possesses a skill that can knock up multiple targets, which is extremely useful for controlling champions that deal damage over time, such as Vel’Koz. Additionally, Nautilus and Thresh are often seen combined in the Knight lineup, providing immense crowd control.
A good defensive shield, strong crowd control capabilities, and a price of only 2 gold—players can even acquire him very early—clearly, Nautilus’s performance far exceeds the economic value of this champion.

Irelia
The most favored 2-cost champion right now is none other than Irelia—this champion embodies the three hot traits currently: Warrior, Legionnaire, and Protector. In other words, Irelia can fit into a variety of playstyles, making significant impacts in any composition. Notably, the tank build for Irelia is the top trend and is currently the most effective.
Typically, Legionnaire compositions previously had to pair with sturdy champions to enhance defensive strength. However, with Aatrox receiving buffs and Irelia being a strong shield, players can now build a lineup with 6 Legionnaires. Additionally, Irelia proves effective in the meta revolving around Warriors or Protectors. Especially in the late game, Irelia does not show signs of being “weaker” compared to many other cheap champions, and in fact, the longer the fight goes, the more she maximizes her potential. Notably, Irelia is also one of the champions that can serve as a carry without needing damage items, giving players more options for itemization for this champion known as the Blade Dancer.
