Orianna
The first name on the list is Orianna – a champion from the Sorcerer – Mech group. Moreover, this champion just received a buff after the 12.1 update. However, she is one of the 4-cost champions that is undervalued, being placed in tier B. Nevertheless, this does not diminish Orianna’s effectiveness or her popularity among players.
As one of the champions possessing an ability kit that can turn team fights around, Orianna is even more valued as Sorcerer compositions are being buffed back by Riot. Currently, although she is only tier B, this champion has a 33.8% pick rate and a win rate of 14.7%.

Braum
Braum is a 4-cost champion from the Guardian – Gang group and is considered one of the 3 champions that every Gang player must have on the board (along with Shaco and Akali). However, Braum is only rated as tier C, even though this champion’s ability to knock up can help the player’s team turn defeat into victory.
After patch 12.1, the Gang – Assassin has made a strong resurgence in TFT, and Braum is an indispensable name in the late game to enhance the sturdiness and control of this composition. This is also why this tier C champion has a 37.9% presence rate and achieves a win rate of 13.2%.

Janna
Ranking number 1 in the list of the most popular champions currently in TFT after the 12.1 update is Janna – a champion with 3 traits: Recycler – Sorcerer – Scholar. It can be said that Janna is suitable for almost all types of compositions and fundamentally, this champion does not need too many items, allowing other traits to be equipped on her, making Janna more versatile than ever. Janna has a 51.3% pick rate and a win rate of 14.8%.

However, Janna is only rated in tier B despite being one of the hottest picks currently. The issue may lie in Janna’s lack of durability, and her skill set cannot be used frequently due to the high mana cost (180), while most players do not prioritize itemizing this champion except for certain trait items.
