Alistar
Although not buffed in patch 12.6 of Teamfight Tactics, and even facing a nerf in base AD, Alistar has still shone as one of the strongest 4-cost champions currently. Specifically, Alistar now boasts a 13.3% win rate with an average placement of 4.11 at ranks Platinum and above. This means that using Alistar nearly guarantees you a spot in the top 4, and even a chance to compete for the top 1 position by the end of the match.

The reason for his dominance comes from Alistar being a key unit in the Gadgeteen composition, which is currently at the top of the meta. With a simple yet highly effective strategy where Alistar controls opponents while Sivir continuously deals damage from afar, the Gadgeteen composition is nearly “unbeatable” in the current meta. It seems Alistar will remain powerful for quite some time until the Gadgeteen team faces nerfs.
Kha’Zix
Though not very popular, Kha’Zix is even outperforming Alistar in terms of win rate and average placement. Specifically, Kha’Zix now has a 15.3% win rate and an average placement of 4.09. Rich in damage, with annoying effects and high mobility, Kha’Zix has become very strong at this moment. Combined with the dominance of strong backline compositions in the meta, an Assassin like Kha’Zix has more room to shine.

One thing that players need to know is that Kha’Zix is often used in Assassin teams with a solid core of champions like Talon, Syndra, or sometimes even Twitch. Therefore, trying to build core items for Kha’Zix can be challenging as you would have already assigned damage items to other units. Thus, the advice when building Kha’Zix late game is to equip this unit with a Thief’s Glove to save items while maximizing damage potential.
Renata Glasc
After numerous champions faced nerfs in base AD, the ability to deal physical damage in Teamfight Tactics has significantly weakened. Combined with the fact that magic damage compositions are no longer very strong in burst damage, compositions featuring healing effects and strong damage reduction like Chemtech have risen powerfully. Accompanying this is the return of a very strong character, Renata Glasc.

Basically, the way Renata Glasc operates now not only makes her strong but also significantly enhances the power of other core champions in the Chemtech team, making this composition quite perfect at the moment. With her ability to deal damage over time effectively, combined with holding a Morello’s Evil Tome, Renata Glasc will prevent opponents from healing too much over a long period. This will create the most favorable conditions for Tryndamere and Warwick to take down opponents and continuously activate the Challenger effect.
