Illaoi
As a champion from the Bruiser class, Illaoi’s average positioning and top 4 placement rate are definitely not high. This is because Bruiser compositions have a very high degree of “luck” involved, so it is common for Teamfight Tactics players to be eliminated early, finishing the match in 8th place without having a chance to “explode the jackpot.” However, aside from this reason, Illaoi also has a significant issue with her power, especially concerning her abilities.

Specifically, Illaoi’s ability deals damage to a target, and subsequent attacks on that target will heal this unit. The weakness of this skill lies in its low healing potential and that it is a single-target ability, which does not support allies. Meanwhile, Illaoi is not a carry champion and does not benefit from items, so the effectiveness of this ability is nearly negligible. Perhaps Riot should completely overhaul Illaoi’s skill in the future.
Jarvan IV
While not a terrible unit early in the game, Jarvan IV’s power drops extremely quickly as the game progresses into the late stages. The main reason for this weakness is that the Demacian Standard ability tends to prioritize positioning near Jarvan IV rather than near allied carries. As a result, in many matches, Jarvan IV will only boost the attack speed of a few champions instead of buffing the main carry.

Therefore, Jarvan IV needs some adjustments to this ability, as it should be cast near the champion with the highest AD or attack speed. This would make Jarvan IV much more effective in the mid and late game rather than being sold off mercilessly like he is currently. Of course, this change could make Jarvan IV too strong, and Riot could balance it by reducing the amount of attack speed this unit buffs or slightly increasing the energy cost of using the ability.
Ashe
Recently prominent in the early 12.5 patch, Ashe has been severely nerfed with a decrease of 10 base AD, significantly reducing this unit’s damage potential. Since Ashe’s ability always interacts with 100% AD, the aforementioned nerf from Riot has weakened this unit considerably. Consequently, Ashe has seen a significant drop in all stats from average positioning to top 4 placement after this nerf, falling to an extremely low power level.

Clearly, if Riot Games wants the Iceborne – Ashe playstyle to return to the meta, there should be some adjustments made to this champion. For example, allowing Ashe’s ability to critically strike could help this unit deal damage more effectively instead of having the skill only slow down enemy attack speed. Additionally, Riot could also consider raising Ashe’s damage at 3 stars slightly to facilitate the Iceborne reroll playstyle’s return to the meta.
