Talon
Easy to play, easy to use, and powerful right from level 1, these are the reasons why Talon is currently one of the strongest carries in the current meta. Moreover, with the continuous damage over time from his skill, Talon is one of the very few Assassin champions that is not afraid of Thornmail. This is extremely important for the Assassin composition to survive in the current meta, where there are too many physical team comps shining, and Thornmail is an essential item.

The only weakness of Talon might be that this unit must be VIP to effectively “carry the team.” To obtain VIP Talon, the advice is to activate the 3 Elegant threshold first and then sell VIP Brand right after purchasing. This will help gamers increase their chances of obtaining VIP Talon since the mechanism of this system is that a sold VIP champion will not reappear unless you buy a champion in a similar state afterward.
Ashe
With a series of changes in Teamfight Tactics in patch 12.5, we can easily see that Riot Games wants to elevate the Glacial trait to be a dominant composition at the top of the meta. This is because they have comprehensively buffed this trait, especially in the two main positions of Ashe and Ahri. Among them, Ashe is more favored due to her relatively low cost (2 gold) but her skill can both deal significant damage and counter many melee carries thanks to the attack speed reduction effect.

As a result, Ashe is currently the 2 gold carry with the second highest top 4 placement rate (only after Talon) at a staggering 54.2%. The advice for using Ashe is to be a bit flexible in choosing items for this champion instead of just combining Infinity Edge and critical items. Items like Guinsoo’s Rageblade or Giant Slayer also work very well in Ashe’s position as they help this unit cast spells continuously and take down high-health units quite easily.
Jhin
Naturally, along with Ashe’s rise, another Marksman also benefits, which is Jhin. Not only does he help activate the 2 Marksman effect, but Jhin is also the perfect candidate to hold the Glacial emblem if you possess it. Additionally, Jhin’s Mechanized effect with Orianna also synergizes very well with the remaining units of the Glacial trait and gives this team composition immense power in the late game.

Furthermore, Jhin is also a formidable main carry in Marksman – Enforcer or Innovator compositions, despite the recent nerf to the Tech Bear. Although the Assassin composition remains a significant concern, the heavy nerfs to the Brawler team, Tryndamere – Chemtech have made things much easier for Jhin. If you enjoy the classic playstyle of leveling up to 8 and then rolling, Jhin is an absolutely excellent choice.
