A few hours ago, on its personal page, Team Flash unexpectedly announced the departure of four names: Palette, Meliodas, Pake, and Divkid. This incident immediately shocked the Vietnamese League of Legends community, especially since all four were key players frequently fielded by FL, and moreover, the Winter VCS is fast approaching, with FL being one of the teams confirmed to participate. Some netizens even speculated that FL was preparing for dissolution after bidding farewell to so many core members.

However, about an hour later, FL’s official page unexpectedly posted a correction. Specifically, according to the announcement from FL, there was a mistake in the information, leading to the wrong announcement being posted. Palette will still remain in the colors of the 2020 VCS champions, and FL is only parting ways with three names: Meliodas, Pake, and Divkid.

This information immediately brought joy back to FL fans, dispelling doubts about the team’s potential dissolution. Although in Spring 2021, Palette had some less-than-stellar performances and struggled to lead the team’s gameplay, he is still regarded as one of the highest-rated Supports in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene. As for Pake and Divkid, both had a disappointing Spring season. Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Meliodas has been contacted by SBTC Esports shortly after the Spring season ended.
With Palette confirmed to stay, FL heading into Winter and the upcoming 2022 season will still revolve around long-standing pillars like Palette and Yoshino. However, recruiting quality names will also be a significant challenge for FL. While Levi and Slader are reportedly looking to play overseas, there aren’t many free agents available for the mid-lane position for FL to choose from. Not to mention, in the head coach position, they must urgently find a replacement for Coach Liêu “Sergh” Nam Lộc, who was just announced to be leaving a few days ago.

Nevertheless, many believe this is a necessary overhaul, especially after FL experienced an incredibly poor Spring season, almost having to compete in the Promotion stage. That is an unacceptable result, and FL will certainly do everything possible to reclaim the glory they achieved back in 2020.
