Following Team Secret, GAM Esports, and Team Flash, SBTC Esports has also just gone through a significant personnel change, as just moments ago, the team known as Tam Kê announced the departure of their head coach – “Violet” Ngô Mạnh Quyền, due to health reasons.

“[Official Announcement]”
Coach Violet departs from SBTC Esports.
As of October 4, 2021, due to health reasons, head coach “Violet” Ngô Mạnh Quyền can no longer accompany the SBTC team. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Coach Violet for his tireless contributions during this time. The growth of SBTC today owes much to our teacher and brother, Violet. The SBTC team deeply regrets having to say goodbye to Coach Quyền.
We wish Coach Quyền good health, continued good luck, and success in the future.
Thank you, “Violet” Ngô Mạnh Quyền.”
Coach Violet’s health issues have actually been mentioned in several streams, as well as in various rumors surrounding SBTC Esports. Some unverified rumors suggest that he or a family member tested positive for COVID-19; however, this information lacks any basis. Nevertheless, the reality that SE fans must face is that this coach will no longer be at the helm to lead SE in the upcoming VCS Winter 2021, due to health constraints.

Overall, this is quite a regrettable farewell for SBTC fans, as Violet’s departure is due to reasons completely beyond his control. While leading SE, some opinions suggested that Violet’s overly gentle approach and lack of assertiveness with his players contributed to the indiscipline of certain SE stars. This may be the only downside for this coach during his time leading Tam Kê.
As for SBTC Esports, following Violet’s departure, the position of head coach remains vacant, and it is not out of the question that SE will bring back the “tactical master” BaRoiBeo, also known as Teacher Ba, to the coaching role. With extensive experience in the Vietnamese professional League of Legends scene, Teacher Ba is fully capable of helping SE achieve a better result than their top 5 finish in the VCS Spring 2021.
