Undead
Since the Undead Shapeshifter was modified to always stop after hitting 2 enemy champions, the Undead race hasn’t been a hot choice anymore. However, in patch 11.20, this will change as the Undead Shapeshifter has been significantly buffed in both base Attack Damage and scaling per level. This allows for item-centric damage builds like Blue Buff, Runaan’s Hurricane, or Infinity Edge for the Undead Shapeshifter to make a comeback.

Furthermore, players being able to own up to 2 Light Equipment could make the Undead race’s power hard to control. This unit can completely clear the battlefield if equipped with the Cosmic Blade or Runaan’s Tempest. Even if it doesn’t become the main damage dealer, the Undead still provides players with a solid frontline tank that has crowd control. Thus, you can comfortably utilize strong ranged carries like Heimerdinger or Vel’Koz in the late game.
Warrior
Although units from this class still appear in the meta, the 6 Warrior composition has been severely countered and is not used as much anymore. In the upcoming patch 11.20, Riot Games will seek to bring back compositions revolving around the 6 Warriors as the additional Attack Damage gained each second from this class has been greatly increased. This will make Warrior champions deal slightly more effective damage in the late game.

Moreover, this buff enhances the snowball potential of units like Olaf and Irelia in the early game. If they can trigger the Guardian effect, Olaf and Irelia become nearly unbeatable at level 5 with both high Attack Damage and attack speed. With this advantage, players in Teamfight Tactics will easily secure winning streaks and a substantial amount of gold. From there, playing a composition of 6 Guardians or 6 Warriors can be executed smoothly.
Dragon Tribe
The fate of the Dragon Tribe in season 5 is quite similar to the Fortune Tribe in season 4 as both are “gambling” races that do not provide direct stats to units. Thus, this tribe has always seemed extremely weak in recent patches and is only considered a “fun” composition. Riot will aim to change this in the upcoming patch 11.20 by increasing the spawn rate of large dragon eggs and the average value they provide.

Essentially, this change will allow Dragon eggs to provide more gold, champions, and help players upgrade their compositions faster than before. This will partially compensate for the lack of stats provided by the Dragon Tribe and give playstyles revolving around Zyra or 3-star Sett a chance to shine. Moreover, players will also maintain health and accumulate gold better with the Dragon Tribe, having enough resources to transition into compositions utilizing many expensive 5-cost champions in the late game.
