T1 Star’s “Disastrous” Stats at LCK Cup 2025
During the LCK Cup 2025, T1 made a surprising roster change by benching Gumayusi and bringing in Smash – the ADC promoted from the T1 Challengers team. However, this change seems to have yielded no positive results.

As if the controversies weren’t enough, T1 finished the LCK Cup 2025 in 6th place, missing out on the First Stand opportunity, alongside reports that Smash dared to “challenge” even Faker. But more “disastrous” is the young star’s stats, despite the entire lineup playing around this player.

Specifically, while he possesses high KDA and gold per minute stats, Smash’s damage per minute conversion and damage ratio (to champions/towers) are alarmingly low, creating a noticeable disparity. In fact, when compared to the ADC deemed the weakest and most inconsistent at the LCK Cup 2025, Deokdam, Smash’s damage conversion rate is also inferior (129.3% compared to 150.3%).

T1 Must End Data Collection Before Regular Seasons Start
On many forums, several T1 fans have expressed immense disappointment upon witnessing Smash’s stats. Aside from superstar ADCs who have already made their mark like Ruler, Viper, or Aiming; even those like Jiwoo or Deokdam, whom Smash could lose to in basic ADC stats, is hard to accept.

T1’s 6th place finish at the LCK Cup 2025 is perhaps not surprising, especially when looking at the players’ performances compared to their opponents. However, if the 2024 World Championship champions continue to showcase this trend when the Regular Seasons begin, a similar outcome may be hard to avoid. Especially since 2025 will only have the Regular Seasons as the domestic competition, which will lead teams to focus intensely, leaving no room for mistakes.
