In just a few days, the League of Legends community will be eagerly anticipating another masterpiece from Riot and T1, namely the 2023 Worlds skin line honoring the champions from LCK. It can be said that this time, the skins will attract attention from T1 fans, anti-fans, and neutral supporters alike. Firstly, in terms of significance, this is Faker’s fourth Worlds championship after many years of waiting and the first Worlds title for the ZOGK star lineup. Furthermore, this is also the first time a 2023 Worlds skin will be officially introduced to the audience in August – a record-breaking timeline in League of Legends history since the concept of Worlds skins was established.

Notably, T1 will also receive an unprecedented privilege in League of Legends history. According to the latest announcement from LCK, a new skin launch event will be held called Champions Showcase. Until now, the Showcase events for Worlds skins have never taken place on this scale, as they have mostly been limited to internal team events or organized by Riot to address fan inquiries. The fact that a team is given its own regional Showcase is a first in history. And to date, only T1 – the team with the most Worlds championships – has this privilege.

In reality, the stature and significance of this championship warrant an LCK Showcase. This is T1 and Faker’s fourth Worlds championship – some of the most influential names in League of Legends today. Additionally, on their path to victory, T1 defeated all four representatives from the LPL. According to Keria, T1’s Worlds skins will carry a lot of Korean cultural elements – an added factor that makes the skins even more meaningful.

The League of Legends community is also eagerly awaiting the skins that honor one of the most tumultuous seasons in Faker’s career. The skins will be introduced first on the PBE server and are expected to officially launch on the main client sometime between mid to late August 2024.
