This duo from T1 was almost “missing” in the loss to Gen.G
In the match between T1 and Gen.G, a clear truth emerged: T1 was completely obliterated from start to finish. The rare moments in both games where T1 managed to “hold their ground” against their opponents were perhaps just a few minutes in the early game. However, even then, among the 5 players competing for T1 that day, the star duo Doran and Peyz were almost “invisible” throughout the match.

In the recent match, Peyz faced off against Ruler. In reality, Ruler has not been able to showcase maximum performance for several reasons, but even so, the former star of Gen.G did not have any standout moments. In fact, Peyz was almost absent when the match entered critical phases such as team fights or objective contests. Even when using his signature champion Zeri, Peyz was left helpless against his older counterpart across the battlefield.

And the other player, who was even more lackluster, was Doran. On a day when Kiin shined, Doran not only was overwhelmed but also completely disappeared. Perhaps aside from being continuously taken down, no one could identify any contributions or influence from Doran in the recent LCK classic matchup.

All T1 players need to reflect on themselves
Since the conclusion of the LCK Cup 2026 group stage, T1 has only managed to secure a single victory against HLE. This is never enough for a team that is expected to compete for the title, earn spots for the ASIAD, and have opportunities to participate in MSI. Clearly, the T1 stars have a lot to reflect on, especially regarding their performance when facing stable opponents like Gen.G or even KT, BFX.
