In recent days, the aftermath of the match between T1 and KT Rolster in the second round of the LCK Spring 2023 playoffs still lingers in the minds of the audience. From a professional standpoint, this match had too many elements to discuss. But when it comes to the peripheral factors, the audience was even more focused. Especially when T1 faced immense challenges from the very opponent they had chosen, KT, and almost had to go to the loser’s bracket if it weren’t for the miraculous plays of the duo Gumayusi – Keria.

As the underdog, KT accomplished what even their most optimistic fans would not dare to imagine: dragging the match to game 5 and almost ending T1’s unbeaten streak. According to statistics, the confrontation between T1 and KT shattered many records, creating new milestones in LCK Spring 2023.

Specifically, game 5 of the match witnessed 60 kills from both teams. This number broke the record of the previous T1 – Gen.G Esports match (which had only 41 kills). Additionally, the match lasted 54 minutes and 51 seconds, becoming the longest game of LCK Spring 2023, surpassing even the usual long games in the playoffs.
