As of now, if we had to name one team with the most impressive performance across all four Major leagues in the League of Legends scene, most would immediately think of T1. Not only have they maintained a perfect record since LCK Spring 2022 began, but Faker and his teammates have also delivered incredibly convincing performances. In particular, during their journey, they have defeated several extremely strong teams, such as Nongshim RedForce and DWG KIA – both of whom are in the top 4.

In the first week of matches after the Lunar New Year break in 2022, Faker and his teammates will face off against another top 4 competitor that is directly contending with T1 in their LCK Spring 2022 journey: Gen.G Esports. Compared to NS or DK, Gen.G is clearly stronger as they boast a star-studded lineup, having only lost one match to KT Rolster and currently sitting second in the standings, right behind T1.
Nevertheless, T1’s Support Keria is quite confident about T1’s journey in LCK Spring 2022. Specifically, the player who is considered the best Support in the LCK stated that the team’s goal is to achieve a perfect first half: “The first objective is to win all matches in the first half. Of course, if we can extend the winning streak into the second half, that would be great, but our immediate goal is the first half. We also need to accumulate points carefully.”

Additionally, Keria also shared that the team indeed made mistakes in the match against DK. “There were quite a few mistakes in game 1, which made things really difficult for us. Thankfully, we managed to ‘turn the tables’ and secure the victory. Everyone is committed to minimizing mistakes in the next two games, and we really did it.”

In the match against DK, Keria also displayed strong performance, especially in the pivotal game 2, setting the stage for T1 to have a chance at victory in game 3, with Keria being named MVP of the match. As for the T1 team, it is evident that the spirits of the players are currently very high. Surely, Faker and his teammates will do their utmost, not only to maintain their winning streak but also for their ultimate goal: the championship of LCK Spring 2022.
