After the conclusion of MSI 2021, the “summer transfer window” for League of Legends worldwide officially opened. A series of professional teams have begun making moves related to personnel changes. And of course, the most active representatives remain those from the LPL – currently the most vibrant region in the world.
On the Suning side, the team has bid farewell to two players, Jinjiao and ADD – two substitutes from the previous season. With the decision not to retain these backup options, many speculate that the SN management is very confident about successfully convincing their stars to continue their association with the team in the future.

Jinjiao joined Suning right after the conclusion of the 2020 World Championship. This was also the time when Huanfeng was facing extreme crises as a series of personal scandals involving this player were exposed, leading to a significant decline in his mentality and training results.
However, as the LPL Spring 2021 began, SN’s main marksman quickly regained his form and became the key player carrying the team during the group stage. The explosion of Huanfeng meant that Jinjiao didn’t even get a chance to appear in the starting lineup of SN for a single official match in the LPL. His only appearance in SN colors was at the Demacia Cup.

As for ADD, this “one-champ-Sion” player was brought in during the mid-season last year to diversify the champion pool for the top lane, however similar to Jinjiao, Bin’s rapid return to form left ADD with limited opportunities to play.
With the farewell of these 2 substitute players, SN’s roster now consists of only 5 official members. There have been quite a few rumors about Bin parting ways with Suning, but with the recent developments, it seems that this separation will not happen, at least until the end of the LPL Summer 2021.
