Reworked Redemption Chain
In the upcoming patch 11.11, Redemption Chain will be reworked to be more user-friendly so that this item is no longer “neglected.” Specifically, starting from patch 11.11, Redemption Chain will grant allies in the same row within 1 space a magic shield to block abilities. This change is great because it helps at least 3 champions from the formation not to be eliminated too quickly when blocking dangerous skills. Furthermore, your carry will have an additional survival tool in the late game.

The team compositions most heavily impacted by this change are likely those centered around Vel’Koz and Sorcerers. Essentially, the skills of Sorcerers are closely related, with Zyra providing crowd control, Brand dealing magic damage reduction, and Vel’Koz being the main damage dealer. If opponents can block one of the aforementioned skills, the damage output of the Sorcerer team will significantly decrease.
Giant’s Bow Buffed
This item has been significantly buffed in patch 11.11, with its armor and magic resistance reduction increased to 70%. This is a substantial figure and can help carries in the team deal considerable damage to a target. Of course, you should not use this item on frontline units since they will be taken down too quickly due to the 25% reduction in defense stats. Therefore, secondary carry champions are the most suitable for Giant’s Bow.

Therefore, the most suitable team composition for using Giant’s Bow will be Rangers. With Aphelios being buffed in the next patch, this composition has a solid chance to rise to the top of the meta. Moreover, Rangers can deal exceptionally well with mixed damage and fully leverage the armor and magic resistance reduction effect from Giant’s Bow. Two champions, Varus and Ashe, are likely to become the best users of Giant’s Bow in the upcoming 11.11 patch of Teamfight Tactics.
Redemption Chain Hit with Heavy Nerf
In the current patch 11.10, Warriors remain an unstoppable force with immense damage and high durability. The dominance of this composition comes from the fact that Warrior units can become extremely tanky with just one item, Redemption Chain, equipped on Pantheon. With both the skill Storm Strike and Redemption Chain set to be nerfed in the upcoming patch 11.11, the Warrior composition will struggle to maintain its current supremacy.

Not only the Warrior composition but also Knight units face significant challenges with the nerf to Redemption Chain in the next patch. This item is considered a crucial tool for Knight units to survive in fights and buy time for carries to deal damage. The heavy nerf to Redemption Chain’s healing ability will make Knight units very easy to eliminate in the late game. At that point, even if Kayle is strong, she cannot carry the team.
