Until now, the image of gamers engrossed in their computers, with makeshift meals and declining health, has been ingrained in the minds of many. In fact, there was once a stir when Shark Liên said, “I absolutely hate gaming, and anyone who wastes time in front of a screen I dislike. No matter who I see, I feel uncomfortable. Without physical fitness, how can one think well?”

However, a recent story from a foreign gamer has given people a different perspective on the health of gamers. Specifically, a guy with the Reddit account DankPlank2 shared that League of Legends is like free Insulin (a unique protein in the body that helps lower blood sugar).

How League of Legends Helps Control My Blood Sugar
Above is my blood sugar chart. I usually start playing League of Legends around 3-4 PM and typically play about 4 games. During that time, my blood sugar drops significantly to a safe level while gaming, and I feel extremely happy because the game is like free Insulin.
Below is my blood sugar chart when I just sit and watch Netflix or do anything other than gaming.
In summary, League of Legends helps me lower my blood sugar due to the stress it brings, making my brain work harder and getting my body moving more.

Blood sugar is a metric that greatly affects human health, especially high blood sugar, which can lead to complications in the eyes, kidneys, nerves, blood vessels, heart, brain, and many other dangerous complications. We can see that the gamer’s blood sugar level has risen very high (close to 200 mg/dL) when not playing League of Legends, which is a dangerous threshold.
However, when battling in League of Legends, this level drops to a safe range. It can be said that the requirement for players to use their brains (the most energy-consuming part of the body) is the cause of this unique phenomenon. Hence, it has sparked discussions in the community, making everyone curious about this guy’s story.

Who would downvote this post? It’s great, man.
Thanks, buddy.
Are we really happy that the stress from League of Legends helps people with diabetes? That’s awesome.
I mean, stress has a benefit of helping to lower blood sugar, which is quite good.

I really want this phenomenon to be researched properly.
Exactly, I’m quite curious too.
Wow, this is quite interesting.
This makes sense; I relax while playing, but when there’s a sudden play, I can feel my body change.
This is truly amazing, congratulations, man.

This shows that sometimes negative emotions while playing League of Legends might not be so bad; they can be beneficial for your body, but we either don’t know or don’t realize it.
