Sony Launches PS5 Pro, No Disc Drive
Recently, the gaming community passionate about console gaming has been abuzz with rumors that the PlayStation 5 Pro has been revealed by several specialized sites. Accordingly, the latest handheld console from Sony is expected to launch on November 7th (Vietnam time), and the PS5 Pro will be a disc-less version, similar to the previously released PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.

The PS5 Pro will feature a larger CPU than its predecessor, with enhanced processing speed, a 67% increase in performance, and 28% faster RAM compared to the PS5. Notably, like all modern technology today, the PS5 Pro will also integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and customizable Ray Tracing that can reach up to 4K.

Of course, the price for the PS5 Pro is not cheap at all. Specifically, the PS5 Pro will be priced at $699.99, £699.99, €799.99, and ¥119,980. This price is equivalent to over 17 million VND. This is a significant figure for Vietnamese gamers. However, for the console gaming community, especially those familiar with the PS5 before, this price is not too surprising. According to some predictions, if they want to get a disc version, plus import costs to Vietnam, a player might have to spend up to about $1000 (around over 24.6 million VND) for the PS5 Pro.

PlayStation 5 Pro Creates a Buzz in the Community
As soon as information about the price and release date was announced, the gaming community in Vietnam was also very excited. However, due to a lack of detailed information, most of the discussions revolve around inquiries about potential new improvements and the import prices to Vietnam.

Currently, Sony has not released any further statements or detailed information about this upcoming console. However, it is anticipated that the PS5 Pro could be a new flagship product from Sony for the gaming market at the end of 2024.
