As we know, in the recent 14.12 update, Riot officially launched Faker’s Hall of Legends collection. This is also the first HoL set in the League of Legends community to honor the greatest player of this famous game. However, since its announcement until now, the HoL collection has sparked much debate, especially regarding its pricing. Nevertheless, upon its official release, the Faker HoL skin is still highly sought after by the gaming community. Across all regions of the League of Legends scene, many players are ready to open their wallets to own the most complete version, which in Vietnam is priced at around 5 million VND.

However, there’s an irony that many fans recently discovered after “stalking” the profiles of the T1 players at the time the HoL skin collection of Faker was released. Specifically, 3 out of 5 members of T1 have purchased it and immediately changed their in-game avatars to the icons that come with the collection. However, 2 members have yet to own this skin (or perhaps have not changed their avatars to match their teammates), namely Faker and Gumayusi.

From there, fans discovered that Faker might also have to spend his own money to own the skins that honor himself. This is because neither Faker nor Riot has made any announcement about the “Demon King” receiving this collection for free. According to many opinions, the price of the HoL Faker skin on the Korean server has reached about 500k won. For a frugal player like Faker, this amount is more than double his monthly living expenses, as revealed by the mid-laner from T1 some time ago.

However, it is also possible that Faker has this skin and simply does not have the habit of “flexing” by changing his in-game avatar. But anyway, if Riot truly has no plans to gift HoL Faker to its owner, it could be seen as an act of “sucking the blood” from the very player that this collection is meant to honor.
