VCS Spring 2022 has gone through its first week of competition, and the results were almost entirely predictable except for Team Flash making a surprising and stronger return than they had in the entire 2021 season. In fact, TF even defeated Saigon Buffalo in the opening match of both teams on February 12. Meanwhile, GAM Esports also easily won against CERBERUS Esports, who were without EGO, while another team has become the subject of “trolling” in the VCS community: SBTC Esports.
Specifically, with an almost completely revamped roster compared to the VCS Winter 2021, and even with a somewhat better quality as most players have already made a name for themselves in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene like DNK, Palette… But so far, SE has not found the winning formula. They lost all 2 matches and in each match, they showed no moments of dominance, whether the opponents were Team Secret or Burst The Sky Esports.
Witnessing SE’s lackluster performances, not only their fans but even Teacher Ba felt “helpless.” In fact, the male streamer even “half-jokingly” thanked TS for placing SE in the top 8 of VCS Spring this year after the opening match.
