SBTC Esports Mentioned Again Unexpectedly
In late 2020 to 2021, a name unexpectedly emerged in the Vietnamese Esports scene, especially in the “national” Esports game League of Legends, which caused quite a stir in the community: SBTC Esports. However, the initial hopes quickly turned into a “disaster” as when mentioning this team, people only remembered the drama while their achievements were completely empty-handed. After a series of players got involved in controversies, SE vanished without a trace. However, recently, the name SE has appeared once again.

However, this time, SE is not competing in League of Legends anymore but has emerged in PUBG PC. This is also an Esports title where Vietnamese teams can compete fairly with other teams around the world, and there has even been a Vietnamese team that won the highest international tournament of PUBG. This return of SE in PUBG could be a more calculated move, especially when League of Legends is currently experiencing too many fluctuations.

The community is also abuzz with this information. After all, the name SE had disappeared for a long time, and there were even reports that the high management of this team had disbanded after Teacher Ba stopped investing in professional Esports. With this move, it seems SE is still around but will only participate in Vietnamese Esports more cautiously.

SBTC Esports – A Controversial Name in Vietnamese Esports
When appearing in early 2021, SE brought many surprises and expectations. But starting from the incident with Zeros’ “loose lips” leading to the first Global Ban in the history of Vietnamese League of Legends, through the internal drama of Teacher Ba and Tú Sena, and then a series of minor and major scandals, SE gradually became a name associated with controversy. In fact, the professional issues of this team were no longer the focus; instead, people just waited to see what other scandals SE would be involved in.
Thus, the endings of SE in League of Legends and SE in Wild Rift both concluded in drama and became a source of regret and embarrassment for Vietnamese Esports.
