Earlier this year, when launching the trio of Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A23, and Galaxy A13, Samsung teased a “huge” project in collaboration with Cris Phan, Bộ Bim, and Nam Blue – three incredibly popular streamers in the Vietnamese gaming community. And recently, on June 14, Samsung officially launched the Awesome Academy project – one of the first platforms for professional gamer training in Vietnam.
According to an announcement from Samsung, this project aims to equip Gen Z youth with knowledge, skills, competitive mentality, and physical fitness to confidently develop on their professional journey. The academy is also the first step in Samsung Galaxy A’s journey to help Vietnam’s esports grow in a more professional direction. The program runs from June 19, 2022, to July 6, 2022. In addition to Bộ Bim and Cris Phan, the program also features ABCT36, Huy Box Gà, and Hiếu Pol.
The two products, Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A53 5G, designed specifically for gamers, will accompany the contestants and coaches throughout the program. The Galaxy A73 5G features an 8-core Snapdragon 778G processor that integrates cutting-edge 5G technology along with Game Booster mode, optimizing performance for gaming on mobile devices.
Additionally, it boasts a 6.7″ Infinity-O Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Every movement and detail is presented smoothly and vibrantly. The Galaxy A53 5G is equally impressive with its 5nm process chip and a 6.4” Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. The duo is trusted to support gamers in becoming top “warriors.”
Galaxy A – Awesome Academy, one of the platforms for professional gamer training in Vietnam

Bộ Bim – ranked top 1 in the Asian server for many seasons, has won high awards at the national PSI tournament with a record for the highest score in PUBG Mobile on the Asian server. Additionally, Huy Box Gà is dubbed the King of PUBG Mobile Vietnam as he competes in the 2022 PUBG Mobile World Championship. Moreover, Cris Phan is a well-known name as a versatile streamer famous for many roles.
Especially, beyond gaming, Samsung Galaxy A also cares about the mental and physical health of young people by inviting Hiếu Pol – a Sports Education lecturer and Deputy Head of the SEA Games 31 Referee Committee to participate.

– Target participants
Must be Vietnamese citizens aged 18 and above residing in Vietnam. Must be students of the 16 teams that participated in the national finals of the 2022 Student Esports Championship in PUBG Mobile (UEC).
After 2 weeks of training from June 19 to July 3, 2022, with 5 live streaming sessions, the 16 competing teams will enter the final match on July 9, 2022, to find the champion of the first season of Awesome Academy. The total prize value, including cash and material prizes, is 204,950,000 VND.
