Just a few moments ago, the official fan page of Saigon Buffalo – the new name of the Dashing Buffalo team, announced the official signing of former GAM Esports coaching members Yuna and analyst Iris – who were part of the coaching staff at the VCS Spring 2020 tournament.
Although this move is relatively “sudden”, the Saigon Buffalo fan community does not seem too surprised, as the question regarding the impressive performance of this team at the recent Ultimate Challenge showmatch has finally been answered.

However, alongside the announcement of the new coach Yuna and analyst Iris, fans are questioning whether the last name in the former GAM coaching trio – Tinikun, has the potential to join Saigon Buffalo.
Rumors about Tinikun joining SGB have emerged frequently in recent times, although this coach has consistently denied it, the increasing posts related to “the Buffalo herd” on Tinikun’s personal Facebook have not stopped fans from speculating.

Although Tinikun once stated that he would not join any team after GAM, we must understand that the dynamics of the esports scene are incredibly unpredictable. Today, he may still have strong feelings for one team, one club, and not think about joining a rival team, but in the future, given certain circumstances, this could very well become a reality.
Tinikun is often compared to the great football coach of the world – Jose Mourinho, but we all know that even this Portuguese coach once made a memorable statement during an interview:
– Reporter: Four years ago, when you were the coach of Chelsea, you declared that you would never manage Tottenham because you loved Chelsea fans too much. How come you are here now (as the head coach of Tottenham)?
– Because I had not been sacked then!

Whether Tinikun has indeed developed a conflict with GAM’s leadership is something we cannot know unless he speaks up. The example mentioned above only shows that even when he has announced his departure from esports, the possibility of Tinikun returning in the colors of Saigon Buffalo is entirely plausible.
Perhaps SGB needs Tinikun’s presence, or maybe the coach himself feels that he has not yet “ended his fate” with professional League of Legends. Either way, let’s wait and see what surprises will unfold as the VCS Summer 2020 transfer market officially closes.
