According to the storyline of League of Legends, Yone’s life officially ended after being killed by Yasuo. However, Riot Games has recently released a short anime-style film introducing Yone in the universe of Ionia, opening a new journey after falling under Yasuo’s blade.
After watching, many people discovered numerous details that Riot revealed through this short film about the Ionia universe, with the most notable being Yone’s return from death:

At this point, Yone was attacked by a masked red demon, and he used a skill with two alternating blue and purple beams (many speculate this will be a skill in Yone’s game).

Yone defeated the demon here, but the price he paid was not cheap; he was bitten just before it vanished (the demon’s finishing move might also be a skill of Yone’s in the game). This bite could also cause Yone to become half-human, half-demon.

Finally, Yone appears as a swordsman wielding the sword and mask of the demon he defeated. Perhaps this half-human, half-demon identity is the reason Yone leaves the spirit world and returns to the mortal realm. The purpose of Yone’s return remains a mystery; however, Yone’s reunion with Yasuo is only a matter of time in the future.

Many are curious whether this is the original storyline about Yone or about Yone in the Ionia universe, or even a storyline that combines both universes. As for Yone, although he bears a strong resemblance, Riot Games has confirmed that Yone is not a Darkin. Further content about the Ionia universe and Yone will be unveiled by Riot Games on July 22 and July 24.
