Launching a new champion for League of Legends has never been an easy task for Riot Games as they must meet the incredibly diverse needs of gamers while also ensuring balance. Therefore, it’s understandable that Riot Games reaches out to professional players for their opinions on new champions, simply because these pro players have the best understanding of the game within the community.

Perhaps during the refinement of the new assassin – Yone, Riot Games let mid-laners like Caps from G2 Esports in on this champion’s abilities and sought their feedback. In fact, Caps himself exclaimed during his latest stream that Yone is the “most overpowered assassin” even though Riot hasn’t revealed anything about his abilities yet.
Caps: “You’re asking me who the strongest assassin is? I think it must be Yone, I can’t go into detail about his skills, but he really has very few counters. If you buy the Crucible, you can counter him a bit. However, many people overlook this item, so Yone is very hard to counter.”

All we know about Yone at this point is that he will belong to the Assassin class, wield dual swords, and is revived in some way. In their latest video, Riot Games hinted that Yone, the “human,” has died and is on a journey of transcendence but is caught in a battle, possibly with death or some evil entity. As a result, Yone is revived in the form of a death knight.

In any case, what Caps mentioned above is just a preliminary observation; we still don’t know about the skills of this champion. Perhaps everything will become clearer on July 22, when patch 10.15 launches and the new champion Lillia is released, we will have more information about the brother of “the god” Yasuo.
