A rather amusing and awkward story about Tian – the jungler for FunPlus Phoenix and current world champion – has been shared on Chinese social media recently. While climbing the ranked ladder in Korea, during a match using Lee Sin, he was ironically criticized by his own teammate for… “not knowing how to play Lee Sin.”
The situation arose during a tense moment in the match, where both teams were in a standoff. This was a scenario that Lee Sin players dread the most, as they find it difficult to create impactful plays. Tian’s team was at a disadvantage, continuously getting picked off, while Tian could only roam the map and clear camps, occasionally throwing out Sonic Waves to threaten the enemy team.
In that situation, one of the players on his team seemed to have lost their cool because of Lee Sin and voiced their frustrations in the chat:
– If you can’t read the map, then don’t play Lee Sin.
To which Tian simply replied:
– But this is my skin, buddy! Do you understand?

The funny part is that this player seemed unaware that they were climbing the ranks alongside Tian, and after witnessing a few moments of FPX’s jungler “running around and missing Sonic Waves,” this guy quickly resorted to trash-talking his teammate.
As for Tian, he simply revealed the identity of his “FPX Lee Sin skin”. It’s unclear whether the player realized whom they had just insulted, but they eventually stopped being toxic. The result was that Tian’s team still managed to win that match, albeit with some struggles.
