In the Vietnamese Teamfight Tactics community, TG (Tồ Gaming) is the most famous name and has many players ranked at the highest Challenger tier. To promote the “player” community on the Vietnam server, TG has organized the tournament called The Chosen One multiple times, attracting a large number of Challenger players.
Recently, the 10th season of The Chosen One tournament was postponed due to the complex development of the pandemic. At this time, another TFT team, FH, organized their own tournament with participation from TG members.
Essentially, the tournament went smoothly without many issues regarding connection or game bugs… But unexpectedly, right after the tournament concluded with TG winning the championship, a member of team FH made some unpleasant remarks towards team TG, and even the manager of FH joined the argument with TG over various issues.
Compared to other regions in the world, the Vietnamese TFT community is quite small due to the lack of tournaments and events organized by Riot Games. Even the World Championship for TFT has yet to have a slot for Vietnam. Therefore, many “players” feel quite sad seeing their already small community being “split apart” like this.
