Xayah Samsung Galaxy
One of the commemorative skins associated with Ruler and the Samsung Galaxy team, Xayah SSG is ironically one of the most complained-about skins in the League of Legends community. With a visually appealing design featuring the signature blue and silver-white colors of SSG, Xayah also has a cool appearance. However, the main point of criticism for this skin is that it is considered a “pay to lose” skin due to its rather “glitchy” recall effect.

Specifically, League of Legends players using this skin have reported that during the recall animation, when the palanquin appears to take Xayah back to her base, there is a flash of light. This light, whether intentional or not, resembles the energy beam effect from Diana’s Q – Crescent Strike, startling players and causing them to cancel their recall. However, overall, it is still a decent skin and not overly “pay to lose” if players are accustomed to the effects that the skin provides.
Kassadin Technological
One of the most clear “pay to lose” skins in League of Legends is Kassadin Technological. From its launch, this skin has been criticized by players because Kassadin’s ultimate R – Rift Walk is practically a “here I am, come kill me” alert. Players can see an effect indicating where he will appear before Kassadin actually teleports to that location.

This is truly a strong “nerf” to Kassadin by Riot, as it strips away the surprise element of Rift Walk. Especially in team fights, opponents can easily predict Kassadin’s movements and completely neutralize him. Despite the League of Legends community voicing their concerns about this skin since its release, Riot has yet to address any potential adjustments.
Miss Fortune Space Goddess
One of the rare Ultimate skins released by Riot, Miss Fortune Space Goddess fully meets design expectations and showcases Miss Fortune’s beauty. However, alongside its hefty price tag, this skin has been heavily criticized for being a true “pay to lose” skin, especially when interacting with the champion Sylas.

Specifically, according to a clip created by the observant player Vandiril, when Sylas steals Miss Fortune’s R – Bullet Time, everything works as expected. But when he steals the ability from Miss Fortune Space Goddess, the Bullet Time skill executed by Sylas does not display the usual effect. Not only does it not buff himself, but this skin also inadvertently strengthens the opponent. And it’s easy to understand why even now, very few players or pros use this Ultimate skin from Riot.
Tryndamere Dark Lord
Like the other skins mentioned, Tryndamere Dark Lord has a very striking appearance, with the champion resembling a demonized warrior from movies. However, its overly modern effects inadvertently “harm” Tryndamere and this newly released skin.

Specifically, some players have discovered that the Dark Lord skin for Tryndamere has a red circle effect under his feet when he uses R – Undying Rage. Moreover, this red circle gradually disappears over the duration of Undying Rage. In other words, players can observe the red circle under Tryndamere Dark Lord to time their attacks against him.
Of course, during fights, very few will pay attention to the duration effect of Tryndamere’s abilities. But it cannot be denied that this is a way to “help” opponents counter Tryndamere very effectively, something that Riot inadvertently added to the skin for this champion from Freljord.
