Understanding the preferences and desires of the community for the development of an esports playground for amateur players and non-professional gamers, Pandora Tournament – the most grand annual esports tournament system in Vietnam organized by Pandora Gaming, has officially been announced, quenching the “thirst for tournaments” of Vietnamese gamers.
True to the name and nature of the tournament, Pandora Tournament includes a clearly tiered tournament system by Month – Quarter – Year, with a total prize pool of up to 150 million VND, featuring the hottest esports games currently such as League of Legends, FIFA Online 4, and Teamfight Tactics.
The specific rules of the tiered tournament system are as follows:
Monthly Tournament:
– Organized periodically every month.
– Achieve rewards and tickets to the Quarter finals.
– Prizes up to 25 million VND.
Quarterly Tournament:
– Organized periodically every quarter.
– Consists of 2 rounds: Qualifying (registration required) & Finals.
– Achieve rewards and tickets to the Year finals.
– Prizes worth tens of millions of VND.
Yearly Tournament:
– The annual tournament aims to honor the outstanding players of the Pandora Tournament.
– Consists of 2 rounds: Qualifying (registration required) & Finals.
– Winning teams/players in the Year finals will receive a championship trophy alongside prizes from the tournament organizing committee.
Registration conditions by game:
The Pandora Tournament system will include 3 esports games: League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and FIFA Online 4.
TEAMFIGHT TACTICS & FIFA ONLINE 4:
– Minimum 16 participants, no limit on registrations.
– Participants will compete by draw or random selection at the discretion of the organizers.
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS:
– Minimum 16 teams, no limit on team registrations.
– Each team can register a maximum of 7 members, including 2 substitute players.
Conditions for participation:
– Gamers must register in accordance with the instructions from the organizers, including completing the registration form & paying the registration fee.
Registration fee:
– 30k VND per person.
– 100k VND per team.
Note:
– Professional gamers from the last 2 years are not allowed to participate in this tournament. This is a common rule in amateur esports tournaments to prevent “smurfing” and ensure fairness for other players and teams.
– Gamers and teams that have won prizes and tickets to the Quarter/Year tournament are not allowed to compete in the ticket contests during the same period.
Competition rules:
– Any acts of cheating, taunting opponents, or uncivilized behavior during competitions will be warned.
– Any team found to have members impersonating or improperly registered will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.
– In case of disputes, teams will communicate with the organizing committee. The decision of the Organizing Committee is final.
Game mode – Competition format:
– FIFA ONLINE 4: Create Custom.
– TEAMFIGHT TACTICS: Create Normal room.
– LEAGUE OF LEGENDS:
Applies the official competition rules of the esports game League of Legends.
Map: Summoner’s Rift.
Competition format: 5vs5 Ban/Pick (tournament mode).
Teams will draw numbers and compete in a knockout format according to the Bo1 system.
The finals will be held in the Bo3 format.
