LCP witnesses the first “perfect game” of the 2026 season
In the current meta, it’s not uncommon for one team to completely dominate another in a match, and this occurrence is becoming more frequent as top teams face off against lower-tier teams. However, a “perfect game” (a match where one side achieves total victory while the opponent fails to gain any kills, towers, or buffs) is a rare event. Recently, LCP has witnessed this destruction right in the first week of the new season.

Specifically, this was the second game in the match between SHG and CBTC Flying Oyster. Before entering the match and after experiencing game 1, SHG showed complete dominance. But perhaps no one expected that in game 2, they would demonstrate an even more absolute destruction. The LJL representative claimed victory over CFO with a kill count of 18 while not allowing CFO to secure a single kill. At the same time, “Flying Oysters” also did not manage to get any towers or buffs like Dragons, Void Creatures, or Heralds… It can be said that the PCS representative lost comprehensively.
More importantly, while SHG is performing very well, they come from a region that has never had a truly strong League of Legends scene. The progress this season, starting from Split 1, has surprised the community. And clearly, in Split 2, the Japanese LoL representatives are expected to be the main rivals for the VCS representatives in the upcoming matches.

LCP will become increasingly exciting
In this season, after the first week’s matches, it seems that the balance of power has not changed much. However, MVK has claimed their first victory against a strong opponent, DCG, TSW continues to show good strength, and SHG is performing to their full potential. However, since this is just the first week, perhaps even more exciting performances are waiting for the audience ahead.
