Not Gumayusi, but this is the player who contributed to T1’s disrupted gameplay
In the match against Gen.G, it was clear that in each game, at least 2 lanes of T1 were at a disadvantage compared to their opponents, with a commonality in all 3 games being the Bottom Lane losing against Gen.G. Of course, Gumayusi was the name receiving the most criticism despite having a very effective Game 1. However, in reality, T1’s gameplay was completely “outplayed” simply because Keria had a much poorer day than Duro.

Throughout all 3 games, Keria truly had a disappointing performance. In just the third minute of Game 1, when Gen.G initiated a turret dive, Keria’s missed skill shot resulted in T1 not getting any kills while losing both players. It was from this situation that Gumayusi fell behind Ruler. Keria himself also failed to effectively utilize the champion Poppy.

In Game 2, T1 replicated exactly what Gen.G did in Game 1, and thus their bot lane won the lane. However, Duro showcased incredibly agile handling with the champion Rell. Continuously landing accurate skills and organizing small skirmishes helped Gen.G regain the advantage. Meanwhile, Keria’s Renata proved not to be very effective, as he was almost always taken down first in team fights.

And in Game 3, there wasn’t much more to say, as Tahm Kench, in terms of mobility and effectiveness in gameplay, simply fell far behind Duro’s Rakan.
T1 Was Too Reactive in the Match Against Gen.G
T1’s gameplay in recent matches has shown no fear of clashes and a willingness to engage the enemy at any time. But when choosing a “scale late” composition, they seemed to “forget” the position that needed the most care. And when Keria lost his form, it was easy to understand Gumayusi’s failure as the opposing side played more in line with Keria’s style, while the other player was Ruler – one of the best AD carries in the world today.

T1 still has a chance to adjust, and the loss is the responsibility of everyone. However, the defeat should not be seen as a “disaster” and T1 must return to what they have always been capable of, as more important goals still lie ahead.
