Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s annual League of Legends tournament, the Mid-Season Invitational, has been canceled by Riot Games and replaced with the online tournament Mid-Season Streamathon 2020. Many teams, such as Team Flash, will feel quite disappointed to miss the opportunity to participate in a major international tournament like MSI 2020.
To somewhat compensate for this unfortunate event, Riot Games has recently introduced the Conqueror Nautilus skin – a familiar skin line from MSI each year.

As for the specifics of the compensation, Riot Games stated that a portion of the revenue from the Conqueror Nautilus skin will be set aside as a prize pool for all teams eligible to participate in the recently concluded MSI 2020 tournament. Among these teams is VCS representative Team Flash alongside many international teams like T1, G2 Esports, JD Gaming, Cloud9,… So these teams are very fortunate as they will receive prize money without having to compete.
Riot also shared that this stunning skin will be available for sale in July, so Riot Games advises you to save up in advance to support the teams qualified for MSI 2020 by… buying plenty of Conqueror Nautilus skins.

Besides the many compliments and anticipation for Conqueror Nautilus, some people feel a bit… sorry for the champions that are not in the bot lane. Among the Conqueror skins are Varus, Karma, Alistar, and now Nautilus – with three support champions and one marksman. Therefore, many players believe that the number of Conqueror skins sold could significantly increase if there were a mage or fighter from the mid lane who owned them.
