Introduced for the first time on January 7, Zeri has become a hot topic in the League of Legends community with her fast-paced, constantly moving playstyle as an ADC. Moreover, the unique aspect of this champion is her passive ability Q – Liandry’s Anguish, where basic attacks count as abilities and skill casts count as basic attacks. This opens up a plethora of build paths for this character.

Additionally, Zeri has become a new topic of study for YouTubers focused on League of Legends, as this new character is known for having many bugs and unusual interactions. Recently, the “bug master” Vandiril discovered Zeri’s latest glitch, where she can “one shot” the Nexus and enemy Towers in the blink of an eye when fully built for AP.
To explain this overwhelming power, we must remember that when Q – Liandry’s Anguish is cast, Zeri fires 7 rounds of bullets, counting as 7 separate hits. With a full AP build and Riftmaker, all 7 rounds are enhanced by this item, while theoretically, only the first round should be counted. Therefore, in the aforementioned video, with just one cast of Q – Liandry’s Anguish, Zeri was able to deal nearly 3000 magic damage to the enemy Tower and Nexus.

It’s worth noting that Riot Games is aware of this issue with Zeri (and many other “features”). However, according to the champion’s creator – Riot August, he intends to keep this glitch as a special feature for Zeri. Riot August even shared that he knows how to fix the enhancement of all 7 rounds by Riftmaker but has not decided to do so.

We should remember that this “feature” has only been tested on structures like Towers and the Nexus. If you can deal 3000 magic damage with just one skill to champions as Zeri, this character will surely become extremely powerful in the future. Hopefully, Riot will carefully consider and remove this somewhat unreasonable interaction of Zeri before she is officially released in the upcoming patch 12.2.
