On the evening of April 20 (Vietnam time), Riot unveiled a new champion set to join Summoner’s Rift from the Void. This champion is named Bel’Veth, a Void entity resembling a stingray. The dominant color of Bel’Veth will still be purple, reminiscent of previous Void champions like Kai’Sa, Vel’Koz, and Kha’Zix. However, the most noteworthy aspect is the partially revealed skill set of Bel’Veth.
According to the revealed information, Bel’Veth’s skill set will be particularly strong in its passive ability. Notably, Bel’Veth was teased by Riot nearly 10 years ago in a teaser for the Battlecast skin line. Long-time League of Legends players may recall that this skin line originated from Viktor’s experiments to transform creatures, from humans to monsters, both on Earth and from Void entities. There was even speculation that Bel’Veth was confused with Anivia back then. However, it seems that Bel’Veth may indeed be the champion that appeared in that old teaser.
Furthermore, according to the skill design of Bel’Veth teased in the Battlecast skin line, this champion can increase its power by accumulating stacks. Additionally, as seen in the clip above, Bel’Veth will possess a transformative ultimate ability, which may represent the true form of this Void champion.

However, this information has yet to be officially confirmed by Riot, although the publisher has hinted that a champion from the Void will be included in the new champion release schedule. It is likely that Riot will officially announce more details about the new champion soon, especially since the newly revealed images are generating immense excitement within the League of Legends community.
