Simply put, due to a technical setup error by Riot, their solution was to have RNG replay those three matches.
As a consequence, despite playing on the decisive match day of Group B, RNG started with a score of 0-0. Some fans expressed concern for RNG as Riot’s decision could affect the team’s mentality and cause them to falter. However, after yesterday’s matches of MSI 2022 on May 13, RNG still demonstrated their superior level, especially showcasing a terrifying resilience as they crushed PSG Talon, IW, and RED.
After the matches concluded, the interview with RNG players was highly anticipated, especially since the topic of the canceled results was sure to come up. As expected, Gala displayed an overwhelming level of confidence, stating that no matter how many times they had to replay, RNG would win. The reason is quite simple: the skill and level difference between RNG and the other teams in Group B is too significant.

RNG Gala: Nothing special because either way, we win. We’ve beaten them once, and we’ll do it many more times.

If you didn’t know, RNG’s replay matches will take place today, May 14, after Group C finishes their matches.
