The news hunter is a film directed and produced by singer Minh Hằng herself. After the first two episodes premiered, the film received many positive opinions from the online community for its meaningful content and high entertainment value. However, when episode 3 was released, it was immediately taken down by YouTube due to being labeled as violent and terroristic. Subsequently, Minh Hằng’s team made appropriate adjustments and the video was still released.
However, what outraged the online community was that this episode featured a scene that was very blatant, somewhat defaming the honor of the streaming profession.
Specifically, in episode 3, there is a segment where a supporting female character is raped and, in her despair, seeks someone to confide in. She knows a streamer online and then anonymously reaches out to share her feelings. However, what she receives are insensitive jokes, humiliating others.
