Information surfaces that TES had internal conflicts even before their clash with T1 at the 2025 Worlds.
At this point, if we are still scrutinizing each team’s mistakes at the 2025 Worlds, it might just be a topic for post-game discussions within the LoL community. However, a recent documentary clip has revealed a “hidden corner”: The TES team had some serious internal conflicts between the coach and the players, specifically Coach Homme and Creme, even before they were destroyed by T1 in the semifinals. The issue stemmed from the draft preparations and during the match against KT Rolster.

Everyone knows how dangerous Azir in Bdd’s hands is, and if necessary, he should be banned or prioritized. Especially in the Fearless Draft mode, Azir is almost one of the first two champions that any Red side team must ban, even the Blue side if the opponent is one of the four names Gen.G, T1, HLE, or KT. However, Creme practiced Aurora to counter Bdd’s Azir.
Of course, practicing is one thing, and executing is another. Clearly, Coach Homme lacked confidence, and immediately, Azir was banned. Consequently, Bdd on Blue side had Aurora while Creme had to use Annie – a champion he has always been quite “unfamiliar” with. The result is predictable as KT completely obliterated TES in both games to advance to the playoffs with a score of 3-0.

Meanwhile, Creme was certainly not satisfied with Coach Homme. This former player was reportedly straightforwardly questioning the coach about the draft choices that were entirely different from their strategic discussions, making it difficult for him by forcing him to use a champion he was completely uncomfortable with.
But in reality, both TES members might share the blame
Nevertheless, there is a clear gap between practice and official matches. In a tournament like the Worlds, no one can afford to be complacent and allow their opponents to have comfortable picks. Even arguing from the perspective of “letting the opponent have a comfortable pick in one game to see how it goes” is an extremely risky strategy, and certainly, no one wants to take that risk.

Furthermore, during the draft phase, players can fully discuss with the coach, and all subsequent decisions are considered final. Therefore, Creme did not need to react to such draft choices. Moreover, he himself could not be sure if he had chosen differently (Aurora) he would have been able to win against Bdd at the recent 2025 Worlds.
