To avoid boredom while following familiar playstyles in the meta, you can try exploring super strong new playstyles in this 10.10 update.
Lissandra – Support

With her relatively mobile champion kit, Lissandra can not only poke but also threaten opponents with just a casual E during the laning phase. When the jungler comes down to gank, the combination of E and W (with the option to invest in Flash if necessary) can root the enemy long enough for your jungler to approach and attack the selected target.
Especially since she primarily plays as a control champion, Lissandra is also quite resilient, not worrying about being targeted and taken down in one combo.
In team fights, Lissandra can dive straight in to initiate with her W+R combo, immobilizing and helping teammates take down the controlled enemy. Or if the carry is strong enough, Lissandra can play around the carry, protecting them from incoming threats.

Kog’Maw – Mid Lane

Although Kog’Maw in mid lane is no longer a novelty, with a slight change in the rune setup, this champion can bring many surprises to both you and your opponents.
During the laning phase, Kog’Maw can utilize his long-range kit to poke and clear minions from a distance. If enemies approach and want to take him down, Kog’Maw can retaliate with Q+E + auto-attacks using W, effectively hit and running with the movement speed boost.
In team fights, as a poke champion, Kog’Maw will often attack enemies with R from a distance, maintaining a safe position and only deciding to go all in when the enemies have taken significant damage.

Volibear – Jungle

Many players may be trying to play Volibear one last time before he gets reworked, but the power of Volibear in the jungle is undeniably strong.
In the early game, Volibear can often charge straight out of the jungle with Q and the E+W combo to take down targets. Since he doesn’t need to invest much beyond Q when ganking, Volibear has plenty of opportunities to gank, putting constant pressure on his prey and causing them to fall behind in experience and gold.
In team fights, Volibear can also initiate fights and tank relatively well thanks to his passive, The Relentless Storm. Since his passive heals him rapidly, Volibear needs to withdraw at the right time if the enemy has Grevious Wounds to counter him.

Taric – Jungle

Unexpectedly discovered in patch 10.10, Taric is not only tanky but also has a lot of damage.
During the laning phase, the only thing Taric lacks is… energy, so he will start with Hunter’s Talisman + Spellthief and always take Blue Buff first. Additionally, his Q skill will continuously refresh its cooldown when you attack with the empowered auto attack, so as long as he has energy, Taric will convert it into health and damage continuously – this makes Taric quite strong in both farming and team fights.
When ganking, simply flank the enemy and stun with E, and if you want to be more certain, you can link W with a teammate to stun from both sides, cornering the enemy.
Finally, being a support champion, Taric can assist teammates in various roles from initiating fights, healing, tanking to controlling vision and major objectives. But at this moment, as a jungle champion, Taric can farm a relatively good amount of items, and depending on the team’s needs, he can build either damage or tankiness.
