Kayn truly has a bizarre fate in League of Legends, launched as a jungle assassin but mostly played as a fighter. While other champions can become strong with just a slight buff, he has been continually buffed yet remains weak (up to 11 times). Most recently, when considered relatively balanced and shaking up the meta, it wasn’t Kayn in the jungle but rather… top lane, in short, this death incarnate has had a particularly difficult time finding a way to survive in League of Legends.

Just a few hours ago, this champion was unfortunate enough to be disabled on all servers worldwide, an announcement made by Riot Games themselves. Compared to the first time he was nerfed, this “color bug” incident with Kayn is much more severe.

Immediately after this announcement was made, the “famous detectives Conan” of the League of Legends community began investigating the cause of this issue. The first to discover the reason for Kayn’s lock was none other than the “bug saint” Vandiril. It turns out that this champion had previously encountered a bug with W – Shadow Assault dealing damage across the map. However, after patch 10.10 was released and fixed the issue, for some reason that bug has returned, causing this champion to be locked.
Hopefully, Riot Games will take this opportunity to permanently fix these kinds of bugs to avoid unfortunate incidents. Remember, just a few weeks ago, a similar bug with Ornn also emerged, resulting in over 3000 players in China being banned for exploiting it.
