Time Warp is one of the few activations that can fit into any team composition seamlessly. Particularly, when achieving 6 or 8 Time Warp activations, there are many carries that are both strong and fun for players to experiment with.
Here are some powerful yet interesting carries when combined with Time Warp:
Master Yi 8 Time Warp
In this composition, Master Yi will be the main carry with his quality true damage. Thanks to the 8 Time Warp activation, each champion in this team will have extremely fast attack speed, slightly increasing their skill usage speed. Thus, the two secondary carries in this team are Ezreal, who continuously spam skills to burn health and gain energy from opponents, along with Thresh (preferably with Shojin) who continuously pulls down additional champions.
With a large number of champions on the board, the longer Master Yi survives, the stronger he becomes, as the effectiveness of 8 Time Warp is equivalent to about… 3 Guinsoo’s Rageblades for Master Yi to “slice bananas”.
Xerath 8 Time Warp
For many, Xerath with Guinsoo’s Rageblade is already a familiar playstyle. However, when playing with 8 Time Warp, attack speed is the only thing Xerath lacks. Therefore, appropriate items for Xerath would be Rabadon’s Deathcap, Giant Slayer, and Spellthief’s Cloak. With this item combo, as soon as Xerath transforms, he will unleash a meteor shower, obliterating the entire enemy team with his mixed magic and true damage.
The remaining champions serve to absorb damage and buy time for Xerath. Since this composition lacks any activations for tank champions to increase their durability, the ability to withstand damage will rely on quantity rather than quality, using Thresh’s continuous pulling ability.
Vayne 6 Time Warp
In this composition, Vayne will play full attack items, as with the extremely high attack speed from 6 Time Warp, Vayne can easily dodge focus from the enemy team – this can be leveraged to increase Vayne’s survivability without needing defensive items. Regarding damage, with the attack speed from 6 Time Warp and attack items like Infinity Edge, Green Bow, or Giant Slayer, Vayne can take down any target on the board.
In the early stages, to maintain health and a winning streak, you can funnel items to Lucian to carry the team in a temporary composition like Super Tech + Time Warp + Brawler + Gunner.
Ashe 8 Time Warp
The main damage in this composition is evenly distributed across the team, with Ashe being the primary crowd control with relatively low damage unless upgraded to 3 stars.
Similar to Vayne, Ashe can also take advantage of the damage from the 2 Marksman activation with Caitlyn. But Ashe’s main strength in this composition will be her ability to immobilize her targets completely while spamming skills at approximately 1-2 seconds per Enchanted Arrow.
Lastly, since all the compositions above include Thresh, you need to keep the strongest champion that Thresh can pull down currently, which is Urgot, on the bench.
