Following the changes to Elemental Dragons in Season 10, the bot lane is increasingly playing a crucial role as they try to apply pressure while laning, setting the stage for the jungler and teammates to secure Dragons early. Additionally, changes to the Teleport summoner spell in patch 10.6 have further reduced the opportunities for top laners to participate in skirmishes in the bot half of the map, forcing AD – Support duos to rely on their own power.
Here are the top 5 scariest AD – Support duos in the bot lane meta of patch 10.6 for you and your teammates to consider:
1. Kalista & Taric
Kalista has recently been regaining popularity among players, and nothing has changed in patch 10.6. The mobility she gains from her passive, Martial Poise, and Piercing (Q), combined with her damage output from Rend (E) multiple times in a skirmish, makes her one of the most challenging champions to deal with both in lane and late game.

When paired with Taric, Kalista becomes nearly unstoppable. She can use Fate’s Call (R) to bring Taric in with his already activated Cosmic Radiance ultimate, creating an excellent initiation for fights. Taric’s healing and shielding abilities also allow Kalista and other hyper carries to deal maximum damage in late-game team fights.
2. Miss Fortune & Leona
The duo of Miss Fortune and Leona has been one of the strongest AD – Support pairs since the beginning of Season 10, and with no nerfs applied to them, they continue to maintain their dominance in patch 10.6. Miss Fortune’s abilities allow her to dominate skirmishes around major objectives, with Bullet Time (R) capable of hitting multiple enemies while zoning out the enemy jungler and carry.

Miss Fortune’s early game strength combined with Leona’s potential for all-in plays creates a deadly threat. Most enemy ADCs must be extremely cautious when facing Leona, as she can chain crowd control for an incredibly long duration with her Eclipse (E), Shield of Daybreak (Q), and Solar Flare (R).
3. Aphelios & Nautilus
Although Aphelios continues to receive nerfs in patch 10.6, his zoning capabilities around major objectives and ability to follow up in team fight initiations remain largely unaffected. While the reduction in lifesteal from the Blood Moon Sererum may make Aphelios’s laning phase a bit challenging, his potential for late-game damage is not significantly impacted, especially once he builds Bloodthirster.

When paired with Nautilus, Aphelios can easily secure kills during the laning phase using Gravitum’s Heavy Cannon. The chain of crowd control that Nautilus provides seems to last indefinitely, especially since two of his three crowd control abilities are point-and-click, making them easy to use. The only skill that requires aiming from Nautilus is Dredge Line (Q), which can be executed accurately when combined with his ultimate, Depth Charge (R).
4. Senna & Nautilus
Senna paired with Nautilus is a creative play by League of Legends players following the nerfs that Senna has endured, turning her into a non-farming ADC while still achieving significant effectiveness. Thanks to her early game gold from minion stats, Nautilus can equip effective items like Hextech Rocketbelt, enhancing his all-in potential.

Senna can be considered one of the ADCs with consistent power throughout the game, with early game healing from Piercing Darkness (Q) and incredible late-game strength from her passive, Absolution. Her gold generation advantage also allows her to outpace other marksmen like Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, and Aphelios, who take considerable time to reach their power spikes.
5. Kalista & Thresh
Kalista and Thresh have historically been a very strong duo, and with Kalista’s recent resurgence, there’s no reason to prevent this pairing from returning to its former glory. Kalista can use her Fate’s Call (R) to throw Thresh into the enemy team, where he can use Death Sentence (Q), Flay (E), and Box (R) to catch and hold the enemy carry.

Kalista and Thresh also form a powerful AD – Support laning duo with significant potential right from level 2, with Death Sentence and Flay giving Kalista enough time to stack Rend (E) and deal tremendous damage. At level 6, of course, their finishing pressure becomes even more terrifying, making them an ideal duo to pair with a jungler who can solo secure Dragons early on.
