In addition to the Marksman position, Riot Games has also made notable adjustments to items for other character classes in patch 13.10. Notably, Draktharr’s Shadowblade now has a new passive that makes champions unassignable when participating in takedowns. Previously, this item provided a stealth effect for champions.

After the adjustments, the strength of Draktharr’s Shadowblade seems to remain largely unchanged. However, this item is now considered to provide a very annoying playstyle for certain champions like Samira and Miss Fortune. These characters can deal massive damage with their ultimate abilities but are hard to target due to the unassignable effect.
Champions like Samira and Miss Fortune are typically countered by crowd control skills or strong damage abilities. Clearly, with the unassignable effect from Draktharr’s Shadowblade, they can survive much better. This has led many League of Legends players to feel it’s unfair and demand that Riot adjust this item immediately.

“How much longer will it take for Riot to realize that Draktharr’s Shadowblade has a ridiculously frustrating passive? I just faced a Miss Fortune using this item and our team couldn’t touch the enemy Marksman. I can’t understand why Riot thinks an item that provides such a powerful effect is balanced,” one upset League of Legends player shared.

According to statistics from the specialized site LoLAlytics, Miss Fortune with Draktharr’s Shadowblade has a win rate of up to 55.83%. This number is even higher than Miss Fortune’s win rate with Youmuu’s Ghostblade (the most popular playstyle for this champion). Perhaps as the League of Legends player shared, Riot should seriously consider reducing the power of Draktharr’s Shadowblade in the future.
