Victory’s bold decision – the former captain of FTV Esports LOL has surprised many…
Perhaps for VCS fans, the name Victory is too familiar as he is a very talented and experienced Mid Lane player. After the recent setback of FTV Esports LOL, the new destination for the 1999-born player has always been a mystery. Saying goodbye to familiar things that have been tied to him for too long is something very difficult to overcome. However, the former captain of FTV Esports has officially announced his joining a team that recently transferred its spot to Over Power Gaming – V Gaming LOL. He stated that he and his teammates will rise from VCSB with the determination to “start over”, a completely unexpected decision from this talented player who hasn’t had much “stage” yet.

“Hello everyone, it’s me again.
Perhaps my performance in the recent seasons has not been enough to meet everyone’s expectations.
The past time has truly been an extremely difficult time for the next choice. Poor form has caused me to fall behind, and I apologize to everyone who has always loved and supported me.
There have been times when I wanted to give up, but I realized that continuing to fight was the best decision to pursue the dream that is still incomplete.
When I made this decision, it also means I will put my whole heart into it… one last time.
However, this choice of mine is not for just any VCS team, but I personally want to start over, step by step, but surely.
Now, I can confidently announce that I will rise from VCSB along with V Gaming LOL. The decision to “start over” may be difficult, and the risks will be very high. But I want to bet on it one more time to reaffirm myself.
Thank you to the friends, the brothers who have always been by my side and supported me throughout the past time. I will return to VCS one more time, soon…”

Victory, whose real name is Nguyễn Quốc Thắng, was born in 1999 and has been competing professionally since 2016. Previously, Victory was always the spearhead of teams such as eHUB United, LG Red, and has been with FTV Esports LOL since its inception. In VCS, Victory has always been highly regarded for his skills and has shone in the lineup whenever his teammates needed him.
In the recent VCS promotion round, he and his teammates lost to the rookie Percent Esports with a score of 3-2 overall. Perhaps, this setback along with the poor performance will be something this young player will never forget. The pressure and unstable mentality forced him to say goodbye to his teammates as FTV Esports LOL officially disbanded.

The decision to “start over” is undoubtedly a very difficult choice for Victory as he and his teammates will compete from VCSB up. He also mentioned that he will lead his juniors in the new colors of V Gaming LOL, all of whom are very new names such as: Jetsu, 5L, Yanagi, and one former teammate who will join him – 1Ground (the former Support of FTV Esports LOL). Additionally, his decision has received a lot of support, including from Slayder – Vietnam’s number 1 ADC and also his former teammate. Slayder has promised to “wait” for Victory at the next VCS season.

Being a professional gamer is always a profession where you have to trade your youth while still very young. Because once you step into this path, if you are not number one, you are nothing. Hopefully, Captain Victory will help V Gaming LOL soar once again in the Vietnamese League of Legends arena.
