In League of Legends specifically and Esports in general, the opportunity to become a professional player is open to everyone without any discrimination. As long as a team contacts you, passes their tests, and is at least 17 years old, any gamer can become a professional player and have a chance to win titles.

Typically, each region has different requirements. However, for prestigious and high-quality leagues like the LPL, as SofM once shared, they only recruit players who have achieved Challenger rank in Korea, with a minimum of around 1000 points. Therefore, to be contacted by teams from the LPL, the player must truly be an incredibly talented gamer.

Recently, the player Sun Dang Moo shocked the League of Legends community when she revealed that she had been contacted by a team from the LPL. What’s even more noteworthy is that according to the image she shared, this team is Royal Never Give Up – the reigning LPL Spring 2021 champion and MSI 2021 winner.

“- Sorry, but have you joined any team yet? You’re in Korea, right?”

– Yes, Korea.

– Ok, good luck.”

Speaking of Sun Dang Moo, the renowned reporter Ashley Kang from the LCK region has confirmed that she is an excellent Support player and recently achieved Challenger rank in the Korean server last June. Sun Dang Moo’s main champion is revealed to be Lulu, and she frequently practices with other champions like Thresh and Alistar. Even former players from KT Rolster and Team Liquid, Olleh, have stated that Sun Dang Moo is very promising and has a smart playstyle.

However, this achievement has also led to some unfortunate incidents for the female gamer. Sun Dang Moo has been known as a victim of discrimination and disdain from players like BeryL, Ghost, and two former players, PawN and Ohq, when they learned that she climbed to Challenger rank only playing the Support role. Subsequently, these players had to publicly apologize to her for their statements.

While it remains uncertain whether Sun Dang Moo’s journey into professionalism will come to fruition, it is evident that as long as one is truly talented, gender does not matter; all gamers have the opportunity to step onto the professional stage.
