While we all know that minion stats are very important in each match, especially cannon minions that often cause players to miss farm, not everyone understands how it specifically affects the game. Fortunately, recently, ‘Chairman Faker’ provided an interesting answer about cannon minions in League of Legends for his stream viewers.

Specifically regarding this issue, during a recent stream, Faker received a question from a viewer who had just donated: “Faker, you always say that last hitting is very important, so how does missing a cannon minion affect the win rate?”.

Regarding why it significantly impacts the match, many stream viewers provided detailed statistics, such as the cannon minion being worth 60 gold at its first appearance – equivalent to about half the gold from killing an enemy champion. Starting from the 17th minute, the cannon minion’s value increases to 90 gold, and just last hitting 3 cannon minions gives you an amount of gold close to 1 kill. Not to mention the high experience points the cannon minion provides, which is 93-116 experience.

Additionally, cannon minions also have a significant impact on wave control when pushing lanes. For example, when pushing waves in a side lane with a cannon minion, you only need to kill 3 ranged minions and the cannon minion, leaving 3 melee minions, and the wave will automatically push strongly towards the enemy team.
