Yasuo All Roles: “Keyboard Warrior” and Signs You’re a True “Prodigy”

Many gamers are still haunted by Yasuo players in the jungle, support, building AP...

Insulting in Any Situation

People often say, “When playing games, there has to be some trash talk,” which is not wrong, but that doesn’t mean you have the right to argue all the time. In a match with 10 players, there are 10 different egos; as soon as one person speaks up, both sides can get caught up in endless insults. When you’re busy “keyboard warrior”-ing, how can you focus on playing League of Legends?

Entering the game means automatic insults, pinging wildly, what has League of Legends become?

That’s why people have noticed that only in low-level matches do players chat a lot and “combat with their keyboards”; in games, even in solo queue, of Challenger players, there are very few instances of such insults. A bit of spice from trash talk can make the game more exciting, but don’t overdo it to turn the game into a verbal fight.

Playing Without Watching Teammates

Ultimately, League of Legends is still a team game; even if you can’t communicate, you can still guess your teammates’ intentions through their actions, allowing you to come up with the most appropriate strategies. The most important skill that gamers need to learn when playing any game, not just League of Legends, is to pay attention to their teammates and react accordingly.

The typical Yasuo 'prodigy'

On the contrary, if you’re playing League of Legends as if it were a fighting or survival game, rushing in without knowing where your team is, congratulations, you’re a true “prodigy.” You might not be at such a low rank, or your teammates might keep up, but the negative mindset of only focusing on yourself while neglecting your team needs to change immediately.

“Yasuo All Roles”

Yasuo has long been a nightmare for League of Legends players, as the situation of having teammates who are terrible while opponents play like gods has become too common. Moreover, many believe that this champion is so powerful that they can do anything, so they select him in every game, regardless of the position, whether it’s Support, Jungle, or roles that don’t suit Yasuo. The result is often a quick defeat while Yasuo on your team feeds like there’s no tomorrow.

Not just Yasuo, sometimes we encounter players who claim to be “one champ A,” “Best champion B in Vietnam” using their main champions in unsuitable positions, and the results are similar to the ones above. If you are truly determined to climb the ranks, find a way to practice playing at least 2 positions, each with about 3 champions you are most confident with; this will help you adapt to all matches instead of using champions that are unsuitable for the designated position and becoming a burden for the team.

Always Thinking You Play Well

Riot Games has created a very clear ranking system; it is not just something for gamers to boast about at the end of the season but also a tool to assess a player’s skill level. Therefore, there will always be players who are better than you, and you need to practice regularly to improve your rank and your skills. However, it is unfortunate that low-ranked players like Bronze or Silver often have moments of self-praise saying, “I play really well,” which doesn’t help at all and only breeds a sense of complacency.

Never be complacent because there are always players who play better than you

This sense of complacency is the most dangerous thing hindering a player’s progress; why bother to practice or study when you think you already play well, right? Unfortunately, that is just your personal opinion; if you maintain that mindset, improving your skill level, no matter what rank you are at, will be nearly impossible.
