The legendary clashes will arrive right in the first week of Rounds 3-5 LCK 2025
As the mid-year tournaments of professional League of Legends wrap up, the community will once again turn its attention to domestic competitions. In 2025, LCK has made format changes that make this second phase even more intense and significant compared to previous Summer LCK seasons. The top teams from the early phase have been grouped together, promising a series of “Super Classics”.

Specifically, in the very first week, fans will witness Gen.G meeting their two direct rivals in their quest for the title and the top seed for the upcoming 2025 World Championship slots, namely HLE and T1. Notably, the match against their “arch-rival” T1 will take place at the home ground of the reigning World Champions. Nevertheless, Gen.G is still highly rated due to their recent victories against Faker and the team.
T1 itself is also predicted to face significant challenges against their opponents Gen.G and NS. The team humorously referred to as “spicy noodle” by Vietnamese League of Legends fans could also cause surprises, having previously defeated T1 in Rounds 1-2. However, T1’s form has changed, and their fans have solid reasons to be optimistic.

As for HLE, they are not faring much better, facing Gen.G and KT in succession. Following a solid performance in the LCK Cup 2025 and the first half of the Regular Season, HLE has shown signs of stagnation. They have suffered consecutive defeats, and the clash with a strong Gen.G could once again leave the “Orange” team feeling disheartened against the reigning MSI champions this season.
