Since the Esports World Cup 2024, T1 has truly faced numerous challenges. Even before that at MSI 2024, this team did not perform at their best as they struggled to adapt to the roaming playstyle – a meta that undermines T1’s “win lane win game” approach and directly targets their weaknesses. However, the situation worsened after MSI 2024, and it wasn’t until recently that T1 began to regain their rhythm. Notably, in their last two matches, Gumayusi earned POG while Keria and Zeus have also regained the trust of fans after a string of poor and lackluster performances.

In a recent stream while T1 was on a winning streak, Keria had the opportunity to share about his tough times earlier. Specifically, the T1 Support admitted that he had some disappointing performances. Aside from the skill factor and strong opponents, Keria also mentioned one of the reasons: “The monitor settings for the tournament changed after MSI 2024, and honestly, I wasn’t accustomed to it and even had OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) about it. So, I tried to do everything to adapt, but I still couldn’t get used to it. Resetting the monitor was very challenging. I suddenly felt demotivated… If this continues, I will truly face difficulties.”

However, Keria also mentioned that he is currently managing to adjust to the new settings during practice and competition. Perhaps this is one of the reasons that helped the T1 Support start to regain his form and performance in the recent victories of T1, especially against strong opponents like KT Rolster and Dplus KIA.

Coming up, Keria and his teammates will face Gen.G – T1’s most challenging rival in recent seasons. And it’s possible that the outcome of the match will depend on a few timely moments of brilliance from the stars, with Keria being one of them.
